This suite of five monoprints was created by Yolanda del Riego in 1978, while living in Alaska. They are among her few lithographic works and she created them following a lithography workshop taught by John Sommers (Technical Director of the Tamarind Institute) at the Visual Arts Center of Alaska.

Technical description
Monoprints on paper (BFK Rives).
The works were created without any permanent matrix, but rather by direct drawing onto an untreated aluminum lithographic plate.
The first pass through the etching press was with stencils inked directly onto paper with rollers. The second pass was with cut-up etched plates, inked using Hayter’s viscosity printing method.
Esta suite de cinco monoprints fue creada por Yolanda del Riego en 1978 cuando vivía en Alaska. Se encuentran entre sus pocos trabajos litográficos y los creó después de un taller de litografía impartido por John Sommers (Director Técnico del Instituto Tamarind) en el Centro de Artes Visuales de Alaska.

Las obras fueron creadas sin una matriz permanente, sino que se dibujaron directamente sobre una plancha litográfica de aluminio sin tratar.
El primer paso a través del tórculo fue con plantillas estampadas directamente en papel con rodillos. El segundo pase fue con planchas grabadas recortadas, estampadas con el método de Hayter.
