Yolanda del Riego has been exploring methods of visual creative expression for over 40 years across a variety of mediums, including: printmaking, painting, drawing, collage, watercolor, patchworks, and digital formats. Trained as an artist/printmaker in the United States during the 1970s, printmaking is the lens through which she approaches other mediums.

Yolanda del Riego's works are included in many private and public collections, such as the Biblioteca Nacional de España, the Museo de Bellas Artes de Asturias, the Calcografía Nacional de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Madrid, the Museo Luis González Robles, the Anchorage Historical and Fine Arts Museum and the Alaska State Museum, among others.
