V. Transition to Digital: First Digital Works (2004-2009)

In the early 2000s, Yolanda del Riego (YR) became fascinated by the creative potential of digital media. During 2004 and 2005 YR spent long periods of time in Seattle (Washington) expanding her knowledge of Adobe Photoshop with Steve Laskevitch (Professor, Cornish College of the Arts).

In Seattle she met Tod Gangler, founder of the digital studio Art & Soul. Impressed by the extraordinary quality of his digital printing work, she commissioned him to print her early digital artworks, including the Arde el Windsor and Desmontaje series.
